Environment gaining ground?
I was just over at the New York Times and I noticed this list of the most e-mailed articles:
The top three e-mailed articles are about the environment (basically)! Are people waking up out there?
The other articles on this list are about travel, religion, and sex. I have to admit that one of these three topics interests even me more than the environment.

Very encouraging. It's about time people woke up and finally realized that we all can make a difference.

HOw many more negative environmental signs (weather and otherwise) would it take before mankind in general acknowledge past and present pollution contributing habits as having a noticible effect on our planet? What are you doing to make positive waves?

Does anybody have recommendations for planting trees to adapt to climate change on the west coast?

Glad to get the seeds!
I think caring for the environment is obvious, but I worry about those who make it a god and put it above humanity. The "green" movement, in many areas, has become extreme to the point of ridiculous. Read the Book of Genesis. Humanity is given dominion over all else. That means both that we should not abuse it nor make it of extreme importance. Balance!
