Fuchsias: A Colour Guide

by George Bartlett

A customer review sums it up: "The Fuchsia Enthusiast's Bible."  You'll know that you're serious about fuschias when you realize that you must have this book.  An introductory section explains successful cultivation of fuchsias, while the remainder covers 2,000 of the most popular cultivars.  My backyard only has about five cultivars, so I've a ways to go before I outgrow this reference.

A fun book but it has led to a huge increase in my spending on plants. My wife doesn't understand why 25 baskets aren't sufficient.

Very complete. Since receiving this book I've started answering questions on GardenWeb, as well as asking them.

Recommended.

Love the introductory material! This is basic stuff that is hard to pick up from perusing the web. The cultivar information is fun for dreaming.

Love,

I prefer the photos in Barlett's other book, Fuchsias: The New Cultivars.

I enjoyed the book and one for the book shelf.
